Through overcoming an eating disorder, I've learned that optimal health starts with nutrition.

But it doesn't end there — in order to look, feel, and perform our best, we must prioritize health as the foundation for everything else we do.

My coaching style is direct but sprinkled with the perfect amount of sarcasm that creates a fun time on every coaching call. I believe that health can be fun and enjoyable once you have the right habits and systems in place.

It's hard to stay healthy when all your focus is on career priorities. You're great at meeting other people's needs but never your own.

But you can no longer ignore your lack of energy and mental clarity that's making it hard to keep up with demands.

With more than a decade of experience in a high-demand career in public accounting, I’ve personally experienced the pressures and daily stress of being a client-serving professional.

That's why I created a step-by-step coaching process that simplifies health optimization and makes it achievable for even the busiest schedules.

My Story

Why I Got into Nutrition

After working for over a decade in Public Accounting , I experienced first-hand, the pressures of the corporate world. Working with Fortune 50 companies, I learned that some of the largest financial systems are only as strong as the people running them, and therefore, it’s crucial to have teams that prioritize their physical health.

I never planned to be an entrepreneur. However, after witnessing countless professionals trading health for wealth, I had to step in to help…

Many people ask how a CPA found her way into the field of nutrition, but the truth is that my relationship with food wasn’t always a positive one. My passion and commitment for wellness began during a difficult period of self-deprecation and shame that evolved into depression and eventually an eating disorder. However, I was just starting my professional career and had no idea the path that deeper interest in nutrition would take me down.

So after finishing my masters degree in Accounting, I passed the CPA and started at a Big-4 firm (first Tax, then Finance Consulting).

How My View of Health Transformed

My obsession with my body image led me to weight-lifting and later, CrossFit. This was when I got serious about building muscle and my relationship with food slowly shifted. For the first time, instead of trying to be as small as possible, I wanted to become as STRONG as possible. I went from battling food as the enemy to appreciating it as fuel for a healthy body.

I became amazed with how the body works and how much of an impact the things we put in, on, and around our bodies have on our daily performance and long-term health.

I learned that doctors in the US get 1 or fewer classes on nutrition, which means I have much more training in nutrition than most doctors! It suddenly became clear to me that our views of food and nutrition are just another example of where society has failed us. Rising rates of disease and cancer in my lifetime alone are shocking.

I wish I knew then what I know now.

Nowadays, I maintain 18% body fat without tracking calories, cutting out carbs, or weighing myself!

Fast forward today, I can honestly say I have completely shifted my mindset around not just food, but also sleep, movement, & stress.

I Believe…

We must each take personal responsibility for our health.

Our body is always doing everything for a reason.

95% of our health is within our control if we simply learn how to give our body the right inputs and environment.

""Exactly What I Was Looking For!"

“Kaitlin's approach to nutrition is exactly what I was looking for. There are several benefits I appreciated: 1-Facts based approach work, CGM, and specific questionnaires allowed Kaitlin to focus on what was most important. 2- Weekly goals each session built on the next, and didn't become overwhelming. 3- Relatable. Kaitlin knows what it is like to have a busy work/life schedule and tailors the program to account for your schedule & focused on the individual Kaitlin doesn't judge you for choices you make or past nutritional decisions it's about the incremental steps to get better for what works for you.”
